Major Arcana · VII
Competing pulls can be harnessed rather than resolved. Set the destination and drive with steady hands.
Momentum without steering scatters your effort. Pause to point the wheels before pressing on.
The same card angles differently depending on what you bring to it.
The Chariot hands you the reins of a situation with real horsepower and competing pulls. The pulls do not need resolving — they need harnessing toward one named destination. Willpower here is quiet: a fixed aim, steady hands, daily mileage. Decide where this is actually going, write the destination down, and let every choice this week answer to it.
Reversed, the Chariot is motion without steering — busy, fast, and slightly off course, or revving loudly in park. Effort is not the missing ingredient; direction is. More speed now just gets you somewhere wrong sooner. Stop for one honest hour, point the wheels, then resume. Ask yourself plainly: where was all this momentum originally supposed to go?
